| Chapter ten: Love
We decided to look for somewhere to sleep.
“So, what did you see in the crystal ball?” I asked looking for a conversation.
“Okay, I’ll tell you,” said Bracus. He didn’t say anything for a moment.
“Go on!” I bellowed. Then he opened his mouth to speak.
“I saw…” he started. “You and me together. We were happy and we were in love.” I exploded in laughter.
“Very funny,” I told him. “What did you see?” I looked at his face. I hadn’t hurt his feelings but I could tell what he was saying was true.
“Really?” I asked. “You saw us together?”
“Yes.”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive.”
Then we looked into each other’s eyes. My heart suddenly ached. I wanted to be with him. I just never knew until then.
Am I really in love with him? I thought.
Then he kissed me. And when he did it sent an electric shock down my spine. I loved the feeling. He stopped and gently lifted his lips from mine. | |
