It’s been a while since we put up a colourful
platform game ,
Yoko is just that, a colourful platformer.
I don’t know if I’m the wrong age (too old, too young?) but I never got into Mario. Or Sonic for that matter. Mario has got to have one of the weirdest lead characters ever. Can you imagine that planning meeting. “Okay guys, now we need a character to play our lead for this new platform game. I know how about a short, middle aged, mustachioed Italian man. Let’s make him a plumber too.”
…
I’m sidetracked by this thought, sorry. I just wonder at what point the games industry moved from fueling developers with LSD to fueling them with Jolt cola and Cheetos.
Back on task. Yoko is a very polished and easy to play platformer that offers plenty to discover. Keep an eye out for secrets and see if you can string together combos of jumped-on-baddies, my best is 3. That brings me to another point, the baddies are very cute little guys, especially compared to
Yoko, who bares surprising resemblance to another Yoko. Only greener and a bit more crocadillian.
Play
Yoko now!
